For the second time in three years Simpson Sales Company has been recognized by NSSF and Shot Business Magazine as Manufactures Representative of the Year. Slaton White, editor of Shot Business Magazine, noted Simpson Sales was their first two time awards recipient. The award recognizes the agency and rep’s contributions to the Shooting Sports Industry in conservation, promotion of Shooting Sports and recruitment of new participants. PREPARING FOR THE FUTURE At the 2010 Annual Shareholders/Board of Directors Meeting held May 3 & 4, 2010 plans were implemented to assure continuity and preparation for the future of Simpson Sales Company. Carl Logan was elected Chairman of the Board and will continue to function as Chief Executive Officer. (CEO) David Doss was elected President. In addition to his sales and territory responsibility he will serve as Assistant to the Chairman in preparation for fulfilling the responibilities as CEO at a future date. Barry Lee was elected as Vice President. He will continue to manage the Ellett Brothers' account along with a small dealer base. He will provide valuable insight to the Board regarding market trends and issues. Paul Dembkowski was selected to fill the position of Secretary/Treasurer of the Corporation. In fulfilling his responsibilites as sales administrator he will function as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the company. Tom Raines is the 5th member of the Board. He will provide insight into the Law Enforcement Market while functioning as Manager of the Law Enforcement Division. The Board & Shareholders are confident these actions will prepare the Company to go forward under the team work concept which has served both our factories and customers well for a number of years.
